Quick setup, great Slack integration

I tried LaunchNotes for their Slack Integration to push out release notes. The setup was super quick, like 10 minutes max. It worked exactly as advertised! My team loved getting updates right in Slack. Definitely simplified our internal comms. Will use again.

Streamlined our announcements

We've been using LaunchNotes for a while now, primarily for our Announcement Bar and Customer Notifications. This latest purchase, adding Multi-product Support, was just as easy to set up as our initial subscription. It's consistently reliable; I've never had an issue with uptime or functionality. The platform has really helped us keep our users informed without a lot of manual effort. We explored other options like Beamer early on, but LaunchNotes just fit our workflow better. Their system for managing subscriber engagement is also really effective. Happy to continue being a customer.

Good product, minor setup hiccup

I signed up for the free trial of LaunchNotes last month to test their Release Management features and how it could help our team with Product Updates. Ordering the trial was straightforward on their website. I also explored the Jira Integration, which was mostly smooth, though configuring the webhooks took a bit longer than I expected to get right. Documentation was helpful, but maybe a quick video tutorial for that specific part would be even better. The automated notifications for our internal communications worked well once everything was set up. Delivery of service, as in, the platform itself, was instant. Support responded within a few hours when I had a question about Custom Branding. Quality of the platform seems solid, no major bugs or downtime. Overall, a useful tool for GTM Alignment.

Hey, does anyone know if they offer any discounts for non-profits? Our budget is super tight but this tool could really help us out.

W Wendy 3 weeks ago
I've seen some companies do non-profit discounts, so it's definitely worth checking with them directly. I think I saw it mentioned somewhere on their site.

Yeah, they do! I remember seeing something about a non-profit discount on their pricing page or in their FAQs. You'd probably need to reach out to their sales team to get it set up.

Is it worth paying annually for LaunchNotes? Trying to figure out if the discount is actually significant enough to justify the upfront cost.

C Colin J. 1 month ago
From what I remember, it's usually around 15-20% off if you pay yearly. So if you're planning on using it long term, it adds up.

Yeah, I always go annual for SaaS if I know we'll stick with it. That 20% can be a lot depending on your plan tier. Definitely worth it.

How does LaunchNotes compare to Pendo? My company uses Pendo for analytics but we're looking for something better for public announcements and roadmaps.

R Renee 1 month ago
Pendo is good for in-app guides and analytics, but LaunchNotes is definitely more focused on external comms like roadmaps and release notes. They're kind of different beasts.

Totally different. LaunchNotes is way better for product marketing and getting those announcements out. Pendo is more internal product data, not so much public-facing stuff.

Anyone know if LaunchNotes integrates with Jira? My team lives in Jira and if it doesn't talk to it, it's kinda a no-go for us.

R Rosa 1 month ago
Pretty sure it does. I think I saw it listed on their features page when I was looking into it.

Yep, it does. My team uses the Jira integration to link our dev tickets directly to the release notes. Works pretty well for keeping everyone on the same page.

Thinking of signing up for LaunchNotes but wondering if there's a free trial? Don't want to commit without trying it first.

M Mia Brooks 1 month ago
Yeah they def have one, I used it. It's 14 days, you just sign up on their site. Super easy.
